Well, this is one of those wedding invitations I can't look at enough. the soft iridescent feel makes this suite kinda magical. (just saying') It starts with a metallic vellum logo wrap.

The Balboa Park Artwork was from a 1915 Program. I toned down the colors to give it a soft romantic feel.

The outer envelope was lined with a metallic Pyrite liner.

Another custom Stamp design ties the ribbon on this package.

The Map was backed with the same pyrite color. I love little round maps.

How wonderful is it to receive an invitation printed on wood? I kinda' love an organic element that adds to the feel of a mountain wedding

Lots of love for this folded espresso cardstock with attached pocket that embraced this yummy wood printed "Lake Arrowhead Invite"

The envelope had a beautiful bamboo liner and the outer flap had the couples "tree logo"

To'spruce' up (pun intended) the attached pocketfold, I placed the layers of wood and coordinating cardstock

Here are the finished product of the "Vintage Seaside Wedding Invites" Every month i have a new favorite color scheme...this is now my all time favorite color combo for a wedding. Love the striped vellum wrap with the custom logo.

The Envelopements pocketfold was created in a beautiful letterpress cardstock. With a custom cut layered initial logo.

Love, love, love the striped backing...this give the classy beach whimsy I was looking for!

each invitation had 4 hand forged 'tiny antique' brads...labor of love indeed, but again so worth it.

each invite had a light gold pyrite liner with custom addressing

the inserts were printed on a beautiful letterpress cardstock, with a vintage rsvp postcard (the couples picture was on the back of the postcard) so sweet.

i am a big fan of thinking outside of the flat envelope...these starfish will set a sweet tone for the 'baby mermaid theme'

two cards were hand cut and attached with vintage silk ribbon (lots of cutting, but worth it!)

i used padded envelopes with a matching label to complete the look. i like the whimsy/vintage feel of the 'little mermaid' invite.

a lot of love went into this 'fabulous' shower invite! i used the classic tiffany's colors and textures to keep the elegant yet, fun feel.

of course we needed the necessary "bling" accents

note the classic pearl necklace and little black dress that the guests are encouraged to wear, to keep in the spirit of "Breakfast at Tiffany's".

had to have a worthy mailing label to show the love....this should be so fun!( the bride-to-be is my daughters best friend)

a few weeks ago, i posted a fun tahoe wedding for an etsy client. wanted to show the suite and some more details. the bride is having the invitation engraved on wood (so cool!) and letter press for the rest.. yummy!

katie and adam are a stunning couple who are getting married in october at the "Chandler Hill Vineyard"
her request was for a vineyard with a wine bottle and their picture. since i only had her picture, i got a bit creative and did a little "photoshopping" here are some options i worked out...love the logo on the bottle.

my sweet niece meganne and phil are getting married at the historic leo carrillo ranch. very cool spot, which has some beautiful peacocks, so we added a bit of whimsy with a little feather. they wanted to feature the rich heritage of the location. so, we used some artistic shots of the location and creating a vintage postcard for their save the date.

wanted to share some ideas i am working on for a self mailing, earth friendly approach to a 'crisp & clean' wedding invitation. using minimal materials with maximum impact. the response is a tear off and printed on a single sheet of recycled paper. i would love to print this on a 'plantable' flower seed paper! that would really leave a lovely 'footprint'

i love etsy...and i have a new shop there. i was contacted by Jen a fun New Orleans bride-to-be. She asked me to design a fun weekend schedule and map for her wedding guests. looks like a fun time indeed! makes me want a glass of wine in a vineyard.

save the date postcard for ali & jeff

ali and jeff are an amazing couple! after graduating college, they worked in zambia together with "acirfa" (africa spelled backwards) http://www.abikes.org/ such a great organization.
ali and jeff are environmentally thoughtful, and are using minimal materials for their wedding paper goods .
here are the postcard ideas for their save the dates, of course on recycled cardstock. (they chose the top sample)

couldn't wait to show the sweet details of lauren and collin's wedding. the bride freed me to excercise my creative muscle, by working on the whimsical maps and weekend schedule. the fun reply will let the guests know, that this will be a fun and interactive event. the tree carving on the invitation was done by the groom, at the site where the couple got engaged and where they will get married. (love that!)

aqua blue, paisley, bronze, oh my-wedding invite

here is the final product for paige and dane. i have to admit the 800 brass stars i applied, was a more posivite experience due to, my newly purchased "bedazzler" machine. i like paige's choices; 'envelopments:' shimmery bronze/ecru pocketfold, aqua blue paisley, with soft green cardstock accent. this combination of texas meets san diego beach wedding, was rich in details. i am glad we were able to use a combination of the couples logo design choices, on various pieces.

my dear friend meg lost her 'rock', her daddy, recently. he was a very unique, strong, man. i was blessed to give honor to him with a "legacy card" for his service this week. my heart goes out to the family and friends of leland. but, he left quite a legacy in his daughter.
