christmas card season
it has been a while since i have blogged...mainly due to christmas card season. it has been a joyfully busy one.
i love christmas! i am sure most do, but, i so enjoy the celebration of God coming to earth as a child to save us. what a better day to celebrate than that.

mammoth mountain wedding
lauren and collin are a beautiful, fun couple who are getting married in mammoth lakes. they made my job easy and fun. lauren shared that collin had carved their initials in a tree during the proposal, in the same location they will be married. so...i had to incorporate this beautiful symbol in their invitation. here are some of the ideas i gave them. be sure and check out the fun wording on the response card.

Mama Irma's Salsa
thought i would share a sweet project i did for irma, a lovely lady who makes an amazing salsa. her salsa is in such demand, that her family asked her to market it for all to enjoy. i was happy to help design her label. she is having a hard time putting her beautiful face on the label. (i love it!) which do you like?

unique seating assignment displays
always on the search for unique ideas..had to share these. the shabby chic window panes gave a perfect division for each table. the vintage wagon with wheat grass and the window shutters also add to a rustic feel.

wedding photo box
i had to share the most beautiful birthday gift i received. from my brother and sister in-law. this beautiful box was custom created by sissel byington photography. i think any bride would love to keep her photos and keepsakes in this beautiful box. the back of the box featured the words of van morrison's "someone like you" the first dance. just so special. http://www.sisselbyingtonphotography.com/
~p.s. people have been contacting me about ordering their own box...you can do so by simply emailing sissel byington at the above link.

more napa wedding details...
congratulations meghan and mino! their beautiful wedding is this weekend. i thought i would share some more details from their wedding. her escort cards were placed on corks and then embedding into a vintage trunk lined with moss. (can't wait for those pictures) the table names were spots the couple has traveled so vintage signs were the element they chose. and the programs were a 4x9 amethyst with hemp ties. i love her original sonnet on the program. so romantic and them. it seems to be a escort card/program/menu season here....many more to come. have a blessed weekend!

take me out to a 'ball game' wedding!
my favorite gals at 'salt harbor' wedding planning did this FAB wedding.
the couple, were huge baseball fans, and so even though the wedding colors were turquoise and creme, they wanted to somehow bring baseball and their favorite team into the wedding concept. a slightly vintage approach to baseball was used, stringing escort cards as pennants and naming the tables after the Red Sox best players throughout the decades. custom cross-word puzzles were provided for the guests to work on at the cocktail tables. and of course peanuts and cracker jacks were served! what a fun wedding!
